Can’t say I’ve ever heard of Zard before . I can say I’ve owned a bunch of termi systems . They work and sound great !Hey guys, so I'm about to take delivery of my new V4S and I'm shopping for slip on systems. It's a toss up between the Termi D184 system or the Zard system. Now, the Termi system comes with a sprint filter and upmap, all looks good, probably the safe option. BUT I really like the Zard system. However, Zard claim that their system does not require any ECU modifications. I'm finding this really hard to believe, and find any information on it too.
It doesn't even say if it removes the cat converter? (Although it looks like it does). The only case in which it might get away without a tune is if it still had a cat, am I right? Something just doesn't sound right about putting a much more free flowing exhaust on and not having to remap the fueling and all.
What are your thoughts on this? Does anyone have the Zard? Any input or discussion is welcome!
