what comes with new Speciale vs S

Just got the call and my Speciale is now here. I know it comes with the larger windscreen and the Akrapovic full race exhaust and in my case the Mag wheels. Is there anything else that comes with the Speciale that is different to the regular V4? This is my dealers first Speciale and I want to make sure they get everything right

Rizoma gas cap and rearsets... carbon fiber errthang...hmmm what else...
Does it also come with the brake level guard? I think it does but...
You're right... it does...I saw one being delivered without the exhaust... dealer hasto install it?

Yes the exhaust and Mag wheels and most of the accessories, (bar ends, brake lever guard tank cap etc) come in separate boxes. As a consequence you have to really stay on top of the dealer to make sure everything gets installed. Funny thing is that there is limited info on Ducati's website and no real definitive list! Thanks for your input
Awesome news dude, look forward to seeing it. They give you any sort of timeframe on how long it'll take to get all your goodies installed?
Congrats. Don't think we have many other Speciale owners on here just yet. Looks like you sprung for all the top of the line accessories.
I get to pick my Speciale up in a few days. I think everyone's covered it except for the bike cover, a tall Corse wind screen and a scale model ornamental engine for the guy garage.
I just got a seat cover... and not the whole bike cover.

When Ducati says Paddock cover I thought they meant the whole bike cover. How about you guys?

I got Akrapovic exhaust, Rizoma rearsets, gas cap, bar end, tall windshield, mirror block off, fender eliminator, scale model of the V4 engine with serial number matching my bike and the “seat protector cover”. It does say that on the manual that it’s a seat cover for incremental weather. So I’m confused. Dealer says that there was no whole bike cover.
There is a red whole bike cover that comes with the bike.
Yes a very nice bike cover comes in the kit.
Strange you have to put all the bits on yourself, but a bit of fun.

I’m getting the pipe fitted at the first service.

My question is mine is a gold mag wheel model, but it came with black wheels, they can’t tell me when the mags will arrive. Has any Speciale owners received their gold mag wheels?
The magnesium wheels were not available as an option through my Canadian dealer. They look gorgeous in pics.
Hopefully, the sales manager/owner of your store can get you an update on your wheels ETA.

FYI - I chose to have my dealer install all parts before I took delivery. The exhaust was a multiple hour job (6-8 hours, dependent on mechanic familiarity). I think I read about a Speciale owner stating the dealer was charging labour for exhaust installation. That was not my experience; no additional charges for parts installation.
Here’s a great video for anyone who is interested in how this thing comes apart and the time, energy and tools needed to do it .

Accessories for Speciale

Hi Guys,
I took delivery of my Speciale this month, and I received everything that I should have. I did get a full breathable bike cover and had the racing screen fitted along with the Akro exhaust system, bar ends, Rizoma tank filler, mirror blanks, brake lever protector, Model of the engine, that was broken off it's stem (an easy fix) and I asked the dealer to also fit a lithium battery charger lead and a Biketrac tracking system. I also received the original exhaust system in a large box, and the corresponding belly fairings.

I'm thinking that if you have not received your full bike cover then either the dealer is going to try and sell it on at a later date? or just didn't receive it. I find that last bit hard to believe.

DIdn't realise that they do a re-map for the racing exhaust system. I'm sure it has been done, but after consulting with the dealer , he advised me that the recall for the oil cooler has been undertaken, whilst they had all the fairings off.

Would be interesting to see what Ducati would say, as I have just filled out the questionnaire about my buying experience.

S.
