v4s Rear Subframe Misalignment

2984 Views 5 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  [email protected]
Hi Guys,

Has anyone seen this, I just picked up the bike and seem to have the rear subframe misaligned on the left side (side stand). My dealer says it's normal, but it doesn't look too normal to me :surprise:

If anyone has / had same issue please let me know, I'm a bit concerned as this is a brand new bike.

Thanks,
Hugo

ok, did you speak to your dealer about this, what did they say? It seems to be only the left side subframe drilling that was a bit off. Mine is off by 1.9mm. Waiting to confirm it is the rear subframe only and then see about replacing...

Mine is the same.

The drilling is not "off".

The subframe will not fit unless one of the holes is offset.

Pick which side you prefer to be crooked. 😁
Hmm, ok, however not all bikes have this, I have looked at I think 6 bikes and some have a small deviation others none. But mine seems to be quite significant. Could be just the way it is assembled that enhances the way it looks. Anyway, waiting for Ducati feedback and I'll post when the final is done.
So it appears that because it is not a functional error it isn't something that they'd normally replace, however I'll get mine replaced just to look better. Sounds good to me and I do have to praise my local dealer.
