it happened to my tank as well on both sides, what i did was buying some clear auto wrap and cutting 2 pieces shaped like the lower part of the tank and sticking them on both sides, after installation you can barely notice the clear film so i am very happy with the results.
V4s Corse Tank Paint Wear
I have a 2019 Corse and just took it in to the shop for the 600 mile service. I pointed out that while the bike mechanically is running fine, I have noticed a half-dollar sized paint wear on the right side of the tank. It looks to be where my knee comes in contact with the tank. It’s very difficult to see unless you lean down and it hits the light from a low angle. However, it’s not a small spot and I’m concerned about what this will grow into as time goes on given how few miles are on it. Has anyone else experienced this?

Does anyone know if there is a V4 R/2020 V4 clear film protection kit available? I have looked and looked but have come up with bupkis so far. I could go the local route and have a expert installer do a bespoke, one-off film covering but that would be bejesus expensive.
