It's said that Ducati's own racing division tuned an Akrapovic full titanium exhaust system just for Panigale V4. Thanks to this system, the V4's wet weight is dropped to 430 pounds thus achieving a power-to-weight ratio of 1.1 horsepower per kilogram. Which means if you don't spring for said exhaust, the V4 more not perform at maximum capacity.

But will Akrapovič develop an under tail version if they're already making so much from the underbody? Doesn't seem very likely, though if you're going for the Speciale, may as well pay a bit more for the split exhaust.

Here is a photo of the Speciale exhaust, it was at the Sydney motorcycle show. Note it is two seperate pipes. It has not been decided yet if it will be available for the S model.
Does anyone have a shot taken from a different angle of that white bike in the thumbnail posted in #3?

Personally, I think this Akrapovic exhaust is as ugly as sin.
If that's the look they intend to produce going forward, the competition can easily match it and at a better price point.
Imo, re-balancing the AFR will be a hotter topic going forward as an Up-map without the exhaust curb appeal will lose its value proposition.

The price list for the Akrapovic exhaust systems is now available.
According to the following,
https://www.ducatiomaha.com/collections/Panigale-V4/exhaust
The Full System and the Slip-on Silencers will retail for US$5300 & US$4100 respectively. Moreover, you may have to purchase a lower fairing priced at US$259 to accommodate the racing exhaust.

This is only my personal opinion but I think Akra has lost the aesthetic edge they had with the previous Panigale under-slung exhaust series.
By the looks of it, most if not all, after-market exhaust manufacturers are already producing similar looking silencers and at a fraction of the price.

Yeah I don't know how they can justify that price point for a slip on, will definitely be looking for alternatives. Really impressed by what Termi has shown with their track exhaust, and hopefully we get a look at the street system soon.
