Hey everyone,

Did anyone here have an experience with Tuneboy, Rapidbike or Rexxer? I just want to know the difference. I've heard that the majority of bikers use Rexxxer for adjusting the fuelling map of a bike, however, there are a lot of good reviews about Tuneboy and Rapidbike too. I'd really appreciate your help in this matter.

As far as I know, TB and Rexxer are ECU Flashes that overwrite the settings in the unit.

Rapidbike is a piggyback unit that sends commands without needing to reflash the current ECU settings. If you have plans of eventually returning the bike to stock, I would buy RapidBike.

Just been in contact with Yaman at RapidBike where your existing unit can be re-programed for the V4 once the new cables are available.

Can you ask Yaman whether or not we need to send the unit back to him to get it reprogrammed?
I don't want to disturb him too much but most likely it will have to be returned for reprogramming. They're still waiting for a bike for engineering. He'll be posting updates soon on the forums.

I'm looking at one of these booster plugs till a full tuning device becomes available anyone used one?
The device tricks the ECU to believe that the ambient temperature is less than it is to add richness to the AFR. What is certain is that your display will show an erroneous ambient temperature. That per se may not be a big issue but can trigger the "ICE" light warning prematurely on your display which may be annoying. Piles of mixed opinions on the Monster forum including some that have posted that the device works initially until the ECU adapts.
