Hi fellow Brit, your correct never got much help off any body here and they dont want to know anything other than bitch about the bike and service, the clutch problem is not only with this model they need to wake up and relise Duicati dont give a shit after you have bought it, i have had a few issues with mine but dealer says he has never heard of the problems but they are well known around the forums. I know its not right but they wont change until everybody stops buying them. Could be worse could be a KTM
No i have not had the problem with the lights coming on after washing , though iam careful around the Key and top area as i did have a similar problem with my ZX10.
One idea might be not to leave the key in,just an idea you might not have had it in. couldbe the battery area as that is were most of the electrics are at

Hi. Thanks for your reply. I did manage to get a new clutch or plates under warranty but I am also warming the bike up for 30 secs now before riding off.Seems to work . Someone said clean bike with wd40 so that's what I'll do from now on.

Hi, not had problems with the cluch plates it is the master and slave cylinders they get air in the system and continuly need bleeding i have had mine replaced, dont clean the bike with WD40 just spray onto the switch it diperses water but can also cause problems if you get too much in it. GT85 is a better cleaner will remove all kinds of crap . agood cleaner/polish to use is the Rokit Williams Racing Waterless Wash and Wax it says you dont need water, but id clean it with water first carnt bring myself to clean without the water.
which model and year is it

RE "warming the bike up on start".. on my old 999 when it started the temp reading always flashed until 46 deg and never set off before it reached that value -- I've noticed on the v4 the ABS light flashing on start up so wondering if that could be a warm up indicator?
