At this time,i ve driven 6500 Kms with my V 4...
I spent holiday in South France at a very hot time...
I ve thought,my Pani is burning😬
When the bike is very hot,it sometimes happens, that in near rpm the machine is only stuttering.
Like not working on all cylinders....
When pushing it,cooling it a little bit, than its okay...
I couldnt diagonize the symptoms....
Did any other has the probs??

Mine does the same thing. They really don’t like just putting around when it’s very hot out . They get angry ! 😂😂. It’s funny because when I feel like it’s hot I feel like my bike feels the same **** way. As soon as I get one the throttle and get her breathing she wakes right back up . I would say this is normal for a lot of the Ducati superbikes as my 1098s, 1199s and my V4s all did this to some degree .... it’s normal Ducati behavior ....

Could it be vapor lock? The **** fuel tank is right over the exhaust, mine seems to run rough when very hot as well - like a hot headed Italian!:surprise:

I ve also thought about it....
The symptoms has startet while the tank is more then half empty
Now,at colder temperatures or speeding on highway,no prob at all

Maybe I’m not following what exactly the issue is, but the rear two cylinders shut down when u pull in the clutch at low rpm or are stopped to try to cut down heat maybe ur just feeling it transition back to on/off

Heat part2

Did a nice long ride thru Santa Cruz mountains this weekend with 600 miles on bike and around 75-80 degree f temps and the bike is still cooking me alive! The fan stayed on almost entire ride despite moving 30-60 mph with occasional stop light, the bike is not cooling down even with a steady airflow and is ruining my riding experience. Bike has the rear cylinder shut down software update and taller comfort seat - helps a little bit but is just too hot to handle. Wore Dainese moto jeans and filled tank with 94 octane gas to see if detonation might be an issue with the sky high 14-1 compression and did not help at all. Did same rout with my 2016 Aprilia Tuono 1100 - a known hot head and was warm but not overbearing like Panigale. Bike is going in for first service soon and if they cannot find a solution to the heating issues will be put up for sale, did not buy this bike for winter only riding:sad:
