I've never understood those who preferred reverse shifting

Left hand turn, knee dragging & you need to upshift a gear it’s a little easier to click down as opposed to reaching your boot under the shifter and clicking up.

Having said that, there are a few holdouts in WSBK / Grand Prix racing that still prefer standard shift
