I never cared much for the ugliness of the required federal emission labels and other warning labels all over the bike, so i carefully pealed them off and relocated them under the seat where they can't be seen. (until needed)

Say for instance, the motorcycle is being registered in California but came from out of state, The DMV/CHP will want to do a Vin number verification that includes the visual inspection of the Cal and federal stickers, etc,,,,,
I don't know the rules up in Canada, Eh ? ; )

They just look at the bill of sale / ownership papers and proof of insurance here.

They are more concerned with collecting the sales tax than they are with sticker placement
