Hello fellow riders,

I've had my fair share of bikes throughout the years, but I've never had the opportunity to get myself something new. It looks that's about to change however, so naturally I'm doing some research into the new Ducati's. I would love for electric bikes to become more mainstream, and lets hope Ducati is on the same page. That being said are there any early user impressions of the bike so far?

The V4 is very far removed from an electric bike and the closest to an electric bike you'll get right now is in scooter form. I think a few members on the forum has one on order, but nothing has been delivered yet. At least not as far as I know.

Maybe the first one on the forum will appear next month.

If you want to dream about an electric bike, the closest thing that comes to a Ducati is the Harley Livewire. It came out years ago as a prototype with little word on if it will come to production but for the most part it was a study on electric bikes, a good and pricey one at that.

I had never heard of that Harley Livewire before, thanks for bringing it to my attention! I know the V4 is not comparable to an electric bike in any way, I'm only curious if the bike market will shift the same way the car market seems to be.
