Raising handle bars?

new member. I was about to buy a new 2022 V4S for street riding until I sat on it in the showroom. The foot controls seem fine for me at 5'10". The handle bar position is unfortunately a real issue for me. I am 67 with arthritis in both hands and neck/shoulders. On my several other bikes (including a Kawasaki H2 SX SE and a Kawasaki ZX14) I am fine after adding bar risers.

raising the bars on a 2022 V4 looks like more of a challenge. Clip ons below the top triple tree, and not much clearance to the fairing. The dealership was no help.

if I can't succesfully raise the bars, I can't ride the bike, and I really want to buy the bike..........

anyone? has anyone found a way to succesfully raise the bars on a V4? If so, how?

thanks in advance for any constructive answers

I know this is not exactly answering your question I treid the 22 spec and the 21 spec v4. and found the lower seat hight
And narrower 21 bike better for and brought the 21 bike instead test rode both and preferred the slightly thinner 21 as a road bike there was no real notable difference in performance and handling to me
thanks for the insight Colne 66. Looks like I am going to have to give up on a 2022 Panigale V4S due to the riding position that would not be tenable for me. Now looking at a 2022 Streefighter V4S....... hoping to test ride one as soon as the local deaelr gets this years crop of Ducati demo bikes.

The street fighter is a great bike had a test play on one too seemed rude not too when I was at the dealer that I test rode the 21 and 22 panagale
There are suspension links you can get to lower them slightly if height with them is an issue
Best of luck with your test ride
