Found another dyno video of the V4 that I wanted to share. This one shows the results at the end. Not really sure that I like seeing the stock exhaust shooting flames, and that chain seems to be all over the place.
Bike is clearly running a little rich, not sure if they have done anything to it, to try and increase its dyno performance. Wish the microphone was better quality, so we could get a clearer sound of the bike.

It's hard for any regular person to capture sound correctly. If you look at how video game companies record sound of cars and bikes, its quite intensive. Even with all that equipment to capture it, sometimes how the end user is listening to it needs to be rewroked as well.
Didn't think something like the Ducati V4 would run rich from factory, but ti should be fine so long as it's not running too rich.
I'm hoping its a one off and not something to be expected with all V4's. We also don't know if any changes we're made to its oil/gas in an effort to make it perform better on the dyno. I don't think any other dyno vids I've seen showcased a stock V4 shooting flames.
Found another dyno video. These guys actually share some of their early impressions of the bike. Cant believe they said they were disappointed with 189bhp, the things a rocket aha.
Good to see that they think the quick shifter is really good. Not sure why they found that the 4th gear couldn't hit the same revs as found in the later gears, though they do seem to think that issue is specific for the dyno run.
There have been a good number of drive tests/reviews and none of them seem to have replicated that issue. So its safe to assume its exclusive to the dyno. Do we know if the quick shifting works both upwards and downwards?
Yeah the DQS has been advertised for both upwards and downwards shifting. Haven't really seen many reviews that focus on it, or discuss how well it works.
Motorcycle Mall has a Nice Dyno Video. A Warm up and two other tries. 3 impressive numbers at the rear wheel.

Thanks for sharing. Its good to see that the WHP is closer to 200 than what was being found in earlier dyno runs. Wonder why different places have been finding slightly different numbers.

I really think you will get 10 slightly different HP#s from 10 different bikes on 10 different Dyno'.

Air differences, Dyno differences, the break in of engine differences, etc etc.

There are so many variables to a dyno run that it would be impossible to get the same figures even running them back to back in identical circumstances. User error can also be a factor as most techs will not have had significant time spent with the V4.
