New V4S Rider in Fort Worth, Texas

Hi folks - delighted to be joining the group. Picking up my V4S this afternoon, with the tail tuck, tail bag, and tank pads on the way. Deciding what I'll do with mirrors. Can't wait to take her through the West Texas hill country. I'm a fairly experienced super naked rider but I've never owned a proper sport bike. Figured I'd start at the top.

Thanks to everyone in the group for your willingness to help out this community.

I use the CRG Arrow mirror on the left side only with the RhinoMoto bar end. Works much better than the stock mirrors and very low profile.

Very cool. I use those mirrors on my MT 10 and love them. You wouldn't be able to post a pic would you? And what did you do for the front signals then if I may ask?
Futurismoto signals front and rear. I'll get a good photo of the mirror setup tomorrow.
Congrats and welcome to the forum. Did you have the opportunity to start putting some miles on it over the weekend?

Thanks for the pic. Very nice! Likely will do the same especially given how lame the stock mirrors are at speed.

Thanks again!

NRC turn signals + crg lane splitters are a good upgrade
This fender eliminator and license plate hide gadget is cool too, pricy tho but it is made out of real carbon fiber and cnc aluminum I guess.

Interesting - I'm sure the police would love it. ;-)

Already put the Rage eliminator kit on the bike and love it. Really finishes the bike nicely.

If you're lucky like more riders I know you'll get away with a few warnings before police take the next step or till when the judge decides to stop giving you chances.

In Australia you will be able to admire a photo of your V4 in a jail cell if you get caught with that.
Sigh. Now having the infamous "clutch bleed" issue every few hundred miles. Very frustrating! Hoping Ducati puts out a fix soon.
How do you chaps find that when filtering traffic it appears to increase the width substantially can it fold in at all, I know the stockies are next to useless (my 848's ones are even worse) I just can see that taking on car wing mirrors.
Well we're a no splitting state in Texas so I can't really say. The bars are a bit wide to start so I can see it being an issue however.
