Already put some goodies on it lightech rearsets and lever guards nrc mirror blockoff plates and fender eliminator kit. Hopefully in the spring some carbon fiber and an exhaust system.

I have a 996 I was using for the track and an 1198 I use for the street now I have options 😃

Good to see you held onto to the 996. Oddly enough I've seen some 996 owners get the 899, suggesting its "better"

I rode the 899 on a test ride yes it’s nice but the 996 has soul I held on to my other bikes because I feel like I have a piece of history from each time line of superbikes except for the 999

It all comes down to what you need it for. I also want a bike with soul but when used for commuting, you rarely find the opportunity to stretch them out
