hello everyone i am not really a new member but this is my 1st post. i have been reading this forum for almost a year trying to decide if i want a v4s. well i finally am going to buy one tomorrow and should have it delivered by saturday. i was really waiting to see what the new s1000rr was going to offer because of all the hype about it.i am trading in my 2015 s1000rr to get the v4s. the new bmw is a let down to me, its only 205hp, finally has updated electronics, no reverse crank and is the uglyist bike in the liter class.i hope this v4 will make me a good bike! anyway its good to be on a new forum:smile:

i am in georgia. i looked at all the bmw improvements on their new bike. i was disappointed it didnt have counter rotating crank. also that slide cam made me nervous because i dont know how long it will last on a sportbike. and i think the bike was outright ugly, looks almost like a naked bike lol.Congrats on finally pulling the trigger and welcome to the forum! great choice coming to Ducati
coming from a CBR600, I had S1000 buddies as my point of reference and realized I didn't like BMW design as well

Congrats on the V4S and welcome to the community. I haven't been very impressed with the latest round of bikes from BMW either. At least they are finally stepping up Motorrad support.
