Welcome and yeah the side stand gets some getting used to; I don't think I've had any dealership mechanic figure out where the little peg is on their first try
Get the bobbin for the sidestand. Cheap and easy to install, makes it so simple to get it down. I got mine from Motomillion.hi all...
im old as dirt and been riding motorbikes since they had stone wheels. had a 2015 diavel dark that i really liked but hated grinding the pegs when id ride up in the mountains. the SigO convinced me that i needed to swap it for another liter-class sportbike...which i did...for a 2018 zx10r...which i knew within the first 5 miles was a huge mistake. if id been able to test ride it, id have never spent a dime on it. anyway, when the diavel 1260's came out i went to the stealership to demo one...and its a great bike. but they also had just gotten in a v4 base. i said what the ****...im buying the diavel but ill take the v4 for a demo ride just for fun. and i fell in love with her almost immediately. im just coming up on the first service but so far this is just simply an amazing machine...except that damned side stand...
Just remember to remove it when you go to the track.Get the bobbin for the sidestand. Cheap and easy to install, makes it so simple to get it down. I got mine from Motomillion.
