New to your forum, was a bit surprised to find a V4 specific one with the other Ducati ones, but ****, why not! I have my order in for a V4S from South Sound Motorcycles in Tacoma, WA. Plan on it pretty much being just a track bike, have a Thruxton R for the random street ride, though it's a blast on the track as well.

Previously have had a couple of Ducs, a few 999's and an 1198, as well as a '71 Scrambler/Jupiter/whatever hybrid I've been trying to 'rebuild' for the last few years.

I run a search about every other day for aftermarket parts for it, any idea when they start coming out for new models?

Hiya! Grats on putting down an order for one. Did they give you an approximate delivery date for your V4S?

As for aftermarket, I assume they'll need a donor cycle for development purposes so for all we know, they won't come out with anything until at least a few V4's have been delivered. There are those universal mods, but I assume most would want to wait for model specific ones.

They are telling me late march/early april for delivery. Haven't talked to them for a couple of weeks, timing works for me though since I'll be selling my house in the feb/mar time frame, viola, cash for a new bike!

Track days around here start mid to late april, so hoping to get my hands on some frame sliders, case covers, axle sliders, stands, armor bodies, etc before the first one.

Shouldn't take that long, my dealer has bases/S models arriving late January into early February and being no later than March. It's the Speciales that will be arriving april/may

Perhaps a few universal frame sliders may fit the V4, but I'm sure ducati will release their own accessories for it. Because aftermarket companies are going to have a hard time getting their hands on one for product development.

No aftermarket parts yet that I can find, Talked to woodcraft and they said they should be getting one shortly after the holidays to start development..........not sure exactly when they'll get it, or what all they'll make, but I'll be there ready to spend my money when they do haha.

mostly just want track fairings, case covers, rear sets, and sliders..........beyond that I don't know how much more the bike needs
