Having issues installing Sc Project Dual CR-T slip on

I have a 2020 Panigale V4S. Do anybody know if the metal piping piece in the OEM pipes can be removed, If so, Anybody know how and what they used to remove it? My aftermarket pipes does not fit flush because of the additional piping in the OEM pipe. Please help!
