Hey this goes out to all the lucky oneS having received and are riding there V4, In your opinion
is the gearing ok or like normal too high ,all dukes ive owned removing 1 tooth of the front was the norm so any insight would be good to help prepare for the day it arrives. As ill throw away the 525 n go 520 for racing like we always do, quick change already done n a few sprockets too.

Hi, does anyone know where I can get a smaller (1 tooth) front sprocket that would fit the V4?

I'm taking delivery soon ... hopefully... and would like the dealer to install the sprocket so that the I don't have to worry about chain and sprocket for a while.

The OE is 525, which I don't plan on changing, and revzilla don't seem to have a 525- 15 tooth that will fit the v4

I'm pulling my front of this Wednesday to get a 520 so will cross reference in my sprocket book to see what spline match up there is for aftermarket sprockets stay tuned mate:wink:

I would not change the 525 chain or both sprockets either. You may want to wait a bit until the after-market guys produce a -1F sprocket that fits the V4.

Edit: Just found a 525 14 and 15T.
