Hi , just joined !.......I only got my v4 yesterday and 50 miles in and the engine management light permanently on . Really frustrated , any ideas from anyone ? Cheers
50 miles it's under warranty, just take it in and get them to read the code and fix it.
Mine came on around 1300 miles after the 600mile initial service; it was an exhaust servo issue, the shop took 2 hours to resolve it... which I'm sure they didn't actually do or figure out what was wrong and just power cycled. Either way it hasn't come on since and now at almost 6000 miles.
Welcome! Sorry to hear about the early frustrations. If its remaining on even after the bike has been turned off than its best to take it in and have it read. With that mileage its unlikely that its anything serious.
If power cycling isn't working then unfortunately you're going to have to take it in to your dealer. Has there been any change in the performance of the bike?
