It looks like Ducati is about ready to enter their flagship bike into motor racing, as new spy shots have leaked out of the V4 R. Ducati will have to rework the engine a bit to comply with WSBK regulations to keep the V4 motor under 1000cc. Odds are that we will also see a weight reduction kit. The world premier of their 2019 lineup of bikes is set to take place on November 4th, two days prior to EICMA 2018.
All the carbon fiber fairings looks great, but we've already seen these offered from third party's. Regardless I'm interested to see how it performs in the WSBK and I'll bet that several teams plan on transitioning to a V4.
