This bike sounds like a dry clutch Duc with the stock exhaust. At idle, I was trying to think why does this sound familiar and then I realized there was a bit of similarity to my 749. Does anyone else feel the same way or am I having a nostalgic moment?
Personally I think the bike sounds a lot better than most Ducs in the past... you actually hear the exhaust than the clanking engine; but even that's still there when idle. The stock exhaust is one of the best sounding bikes I think out there.
I have already posted this somewhere but my V4s is by far the loudest stock bike I have ever owned. I am also OK with the stock exhaust. I used to always go Powercommander and a full exhaust to get more power and better sound out of a bike, but this bike already makes so much power and the fueling is just fine for me as is. So far the only immediate mods I am doing are rad guards and a tail tidy. Might add some carbon fiber bits as I go stir crazy next winter
Just did my fender elim NRC kit arrived just 2 hours ago through Amazon; same day delivery
Looks sweet... I got the plates in tuck position and it's a bit too far tucked in and sure to get harassed eventually
I don't see me doing any sort of mods to it; I think the bike is just about perfect.
