I would like to thank the forumers here for putting me onto this issue with cooking the fluid as I have a sock over the reservior it may have been a while before I picked up on this.
Going in tomorrow to my dealer to have it drained flushed and a better heat resistent fluid put in to try and alleviate this issue. Cheers:

Well we drained & flushed the cylinder the fluid had a purple appearance in the reservior but in the clear tube it was a dirty brownish colour, they had seen nothing like it before mine came in.
By chance another V4 "S" was in for a service and 2 new tyres (6.5K on the dial) the rear brake fluid was not discoloured at all, we found that rather bizare as my bike has only 3.5K on the dial.
They ended up putting in I think a raceing type fluid anyway the really good gear and we will keep an eye on to see if this is a thing that will keep happening.

Like I said thank you for the information I put the sock on my wife Supersport S as that R/B reservior is mounted in an entirely different spot.
