This is the best loss a car can take when facing a bike but put them on a road course track and the car gets demolished, first few turns can do some real damage.
For anyone wondering 'why field a two tonne-plus luxury limo against one of the most focussed, fastest road-legal bikes ever built?' Well... We had the car, we had the runway, and it just so happened that Performance Bikes magazine turned up on the same day to test the Panigale. So we thought, 'why not?'
I was thinking something more along the lines of a Nissan GT-R or even. The Aventador S would be cool too, it might be heavy but packs a lot of power and has four wheel steer.Well there are plenty of other super cars they could have considered instead of the R8. I would imagine the race would be much closer against the new Huracan or the 570 McLaren. A P100D would definitely have similar acceleration off the line, but I don't think it would maintain the momentum throughout the 1/4 mile...the new roadster however.
