Agree on the fact that it doesn't look good but it has been this way for year to the point i'm wondering if we're just the minority. Wouldn't be surprised if folks want their mods to stand out because I know a few.

Weight savings is right around 5lbs... the stock can is 11lbs 13oz, not including the shields that goes w/ the fairings. Each can of the arrow is 2lbs 8oz. I didn't weight the pipes but they are pretty light; maybe just slightly heavier than the side panels, so I guessed it's about 5lbs difference total.

How much louder is it then stock?
It's really loud compared to stock; especially at low rpms. Stock sounds great when over 8k rpm on the road but pretty quiet at idle I think. Here's some sound w/ and w/o the baffles on mine, just had it done yesterday. I'm going w/o the baffles because it's just super obnoxious lol. I'll try and get better audio sometime since the phone I guess tries to adjust the volume levels automatically for recording.

w/ baffles

w/o baffles

Not sure but I took the stock "slip-on" off last night along with the servo motor and metal heat shields on the stock exhaust cans and weighed them after removal to 16.5lbs, maybe the box they were in was .5lbs so that makes the stock "slip-on" 16lbs, that would be nearly 10 lbs of weight savings, i will know when my arrows show up and I'll weigh them in the same box for a constant variable..

I didn't weigh the heat shields w/ the can; but I estimated those were close match to the mid pipes for the Arrow exhaust... which is how I got to around 5lbs... or just over 5lbs.

OK, I finally received the arrows for my V4 yesterday, I weighed a box with the stock exhaust and head pipe heat shield at 18.2 lbs and the same box with the complete Arrow setup and carbon heat shield that I am using for the head pipe at 10.4.. That is a total of 7.8lbs knocked off the bike.. That is also with the baffles in, I would be curious how much those weigh, as I believe they are steel..

I have made some changes to the brackets, rotated the mufflers a little and my suspension is set harder. It's a lot better but probably not yet perfect. Watch out for mid-corner bumps.

Raffaele at Arrow in Italy is aware of this. No real solution was offered. This is not an ideal situation given I paid around $3500 AUD (incl shipping and GST) for what is basically 2 small mufflers and some bent pipe. :(

UGH... sorry to hear that; I guess I'll look into solutions too in the meantime

Yeah look it's a great exhaust for the street - good price (in America at least) and great sound, weight saving etc. It's just a real shame that there's a potential clearance issue. I'm not heavy so if you do take it on the track you are probably also at some risk of this.

I'll take it off and mess around with the brackets a bit more to see if I can cure it properly. Honestly though Arrow should man up and do it for their customers.

UPDATE: I took the exhasut baffles out yesterday, and weighed, original weight savings was 7.8lbs taking the baffles out netted another -1.3lbs, down to a total of -9.1lbs.. And i finally got the bike out of the house to ride yesterday, the Arrows, coupled with a sprint filter, and an UpMap T800 ecu flash, the bike is insane.. It pulls so hard it is almost herd to keep the front end on the ground....
