Has anyone replace their stock systems with a lighter 520 kit.

The stock gearing is really tall and I was planning to reduce to 15T/41T.

I replaced my stock sprockets and chain with the Superlite 520 conversion kit and titanium axle nuts. I kept the stock gearing because I like it tall. It saved approximately 2.8 pounds.

Did you get the steel or alloy rear sprocket?
Also which chain?

I also just ordered my 520 tonight: 41T steel rear, DID zvmx chain. I didn’t opt for the HyperFlexx Cush drive as my bike is new.

I did opt to drop the gear with a 15T front (41T stock rear) as I felt the stock gearing is very tall and too tall for the racetrack.

I’ll weight mine too when in.
