Well after a few mods I couldn't get the LH can from touching the track so had to fab a 2 into 1, bugger paying 2000usd for a spark, glad I have my trade, (Fitter/welder) so I tackled it in house. Keeping both midpipes equal length is key to equal hp from each bank of cylinders, having some 180 bends from some 1098/996 exhausts helped to achieve this.

why change, ok with a full bellypan to catch all fluids which is mandatory for racing here, no exhaust system even AKA would work, so we tried to use 2 cans but whilst on my knee the can clipped the ripple strip and pulled out of the spring sleeve, so with no other place to tuck or shorten it to it had to go 2/1 on the other side. Plain n simple for racing ,as for weight, mate its not a factor as for performance loss my butt doesn't feel it and my lap times don't show a drop either so im happy.
