Termignoni Exhaust Now Available For Panigale V4

Those who have been waiting for the Termignoni exhaust for their Panigale V4 should be able to order one this month.

Though Ducati is now working close with Akrapovic, thus the Slovenian made exhaust the Panigale V4 Speciale comes fitted with, this was not always the case. Termignoni has been synonymous with Ducati for years as the brandís official exhaust manufacturer until Akrapovic took over. Still, their aftermarket Ducati exhaust offerings can be comparable.

Dedicated to the research and development of motorbike exhaust systems for road and race use, Termignoni has been refining their trade since 1969 and now their engineers have created a unique offering for the Panigale V4. Aptly named the Termignoni 4 Uscite, which means four exit ports, the system consists of two underslung exit pipes and two under the seat.

Though Termignoni has not yet revealed their exhaust systemís performance gains, we can expect to see a dyno chart from them once the system has undergone final testing. Pricing remains a mystery as well and if we had to make a guess, itíd be around $5,000-$6,000.

In the meantime, we have a short clip of what the final exhaust system should sound like when mounted onto a Ducati Panigale V4.

Bellissimoto is selling it for 4700, I'll wait till the price drops even further to low 4s, perhaps higher 3s.

So this isn't a track only exhaust? With how it covers up the taillights I figured we'd be seeing a different product for the street.

I can't see this as anything but a track unit. For the street, the under-tail would require a special brackets for both license and turn signals at a minimum which would have to be supplied by Terminogni as nobody else would build one. At worst, you would need to replace the whole rear lighting assembly with an integrated unit.

The market for this exhaust package is very limited making this totally absurd for street users which constitutes 90%+ of Panigale buyers. Moreover, it's a complicated design making it expensive.

At this point, I'm just wishing for an after-market slip-on that's more efficient, sounds good and simply replaces the stock unit where the exhaust flows symmetrically from both sides of the bike.

Moreover, for the street, the under-tail section would require a special bracket for the license and turn signals (and/or an integrated rear lighting assembly) which Termignoni would have to provide as nobody else would make one for them.

At this point, I'm just wishing for an after-market slip-on that's more efficient, sounds good and the exhaust exits symetrically from both sides of the bike as the stock unit currently does. IMO, this would be the most cost effective and marketable solution.

Someone else posted this dyno chart on another tread so I thought i'd include it here as well. Looks to provide fairly significant gains, as it should at that price point.

Beautiful, but no way this is necessary and the price is simply UNACCEPTABLE IMO.

The Termignoni exhaust comes with a lot of carbon fiber parts etc.. I think at around $4000 retail price, it isn't all that high, especially given the fact that it is proven to make the most power of all other exhausts available.
