Most people should be getting it done with the first maintenance job so you can expect these to be dealt with swiftly.

I assume the new deliveries would have it fixed before the keys are handed over to owners. People who has already taken delivery will have to bring it in.

The big question is if itís heating problem as the bike can overheat or is it heating problem as in if you are riding in shorts and flip flops you will burn...
If itís the later one then there is no problem whatsoever

Not even sure there is an issue...

Journalists are testing them today.

I think from what I've read that the heat issue is directly related to rider comfort and nothing in regards to bike performance. I've already seen people mentioning whether or not aftermarket heat shields would be available to buy. Definitely seems to be people fishing for problems.

We're essentially sitting on a motor and there's only so much they can do to make a V4 motor run cooler. Bringing this back up because summer if approaching for some fun times in the neither region.
Think there are now carbon pieces with heat shields now in the market for the V4 to help this problem. lieb-speed is one and I think Ilmberger may have something.

The latest on my bike

Keep in mind that I paid a healthy deposit and ordered this bike LAST OCTOBER.

To be fair, I specially asked for the full Akra system however the Akra delays are not the problem see below.

From my service manager yesterday:

"Sadly we will have to postpone your motorcycle pickup. There was just another technical bulletin just released to improve ducting / air flow characteristics of the cooling system. I have skimmed through the bulletin and we should defiantly have this complete prior to your motorcycle pickup. It includes new radiator ducting and a second coolant expansion bottle amongst other small improvements. I have this kit on order and will prioritize your motorcycle."

"The check is in the mail and yer gonna get a bonus at Christmas", is getting REALLY tiresome.
