Sport mode flashing , no quick shifter!

A few days ago I was riding and I noticed that my quick shift was not working and the sport mode was flashing at the same time on the screen . Rode the bike to where I was headed , had some dinner and got back on it and it was back to working normal again . Anyone else have this issue ? Any ideas as to what caused it ?

grip bars , grab throttle and twist !

Don't know about your issue but there's a new recall on the quickshifter; well it's mostly a check to see if it's functioning properly and only to those that have an issue. Mine started not shifting (downshifts) occasionally when riding a little hard. Apparently they have to check to see if the sensor is picking up the proper voltage or something; I've scheduled mine... most likely they will just replace the quickshifter.
