Thanks for the info on this...
I sent a question to the ebay guy about this but he has not responded...

The forum is perfect for these reasons! The ducati dealer told me to never turn the preload adjustment on the forks too...

These ass holes act like they know everything but in reality know very little

Yup, the V4S is exactly the same as the MTS and 1199S.

A couple of things

Engine

We got the V4S all together and were gonna go for a rip.

Started up and got a "Check Engine Light".

So I disconnected the battery, waited a minute or two, and hooked it back up.

No Check Engine Light.

Front suspension

We replaced the Ohlins oil with Motul 10W and reduced the air gap (oil height) from 230mm to 140mm.

Ran 170 kms yesterday in Sport/Dynamic and Race/Fixed.

Gotta say this is a VAST improvement over stock.

The bike is now “balanced” in that the front and rear do the same thing.

Still cannot get enough sag either end but we’re working on that.

It works especially well in Dynamic but I gotta doodle a bit with the Fixed settings.

The real test will be on the track but so far this is a mod I would highly recommend.

This mod completely solves the "front end dive" problem under heavy braking.

We have done a couple of track days with the new setup but I think we have gone a bit too far.

Gonna decrease the oil height to 160mm and see how that works.

The search continues. 😁

Hello ,

I have same problem after the 3th session in trac days .Howyou solve the problem with crazy suspension ? I already change the Stock V4S shock absorber to TTX GP but the result is same after the 3 session .
