Ducati multimedia system

I have the ducati multimedia system plugged in and was activated by the ducati dealer.
The program works about 75%, but does record gps location super accurate and records altitude, lean angle, engine rpm, speed, and a few other data points.

Gps is so accurate i can tell which side of the road i was driving on! And it overlaps onto google maps.

It also works with answering and recalling people and looking through call lists and messages through the awesome tft gauge screen.
It was worth the mondey for the part , and labor to install was about $100.

What do you mean by works 75%? Are their features of it that aren't working as intended or are there just some bugs with it? Seems like a solid option for the money.

The ducati link application is where the problem is. The bike side of the program works perfect.
The app on my phone is where the issue is, I can't turn km/h into m/hr, can't edit some settings, the app thinks my panigale v4s is a multistrada, stuff like that.
I don't have bluetooth in the helmet yet, so I have not tested the callback featute of the multimedia system.

They should just make it work for the panigale v4s . Ducati needs to step up their game ....

grip bars , grab throttle and twist !

Yes , a lot of people have complained it doesn't work. I am lucky, the bike works with my phone pretty well, its a samsung galaxy s7 edge.
The app needs some work, i do check for updates and do so as they come available.
I'm only at 600 miles and just got 1st service done.
Does this app work as well for anybody else?
Does anybody else have this installed and activated?
Let me know your results and opinions on it.

Appreciate the insight on the app, and I'm not all that surprised that it needs some work. Luckily updating the software to address these shortcomings shouldn't take too long for Ducati to implement. I'll be holding off until most of the kinks have been ironed out.
