I know this is old but I just got my V4 and put the Quad lock on. You just need the handle bar mount and the medium gasket that it comes with and it mounts right to the triple clamp.

Have you ever tried using a GoPro suction base to anchor to the tank and alter the mounting ends to accommodate the phone holder? Ive hade the GoPro base take 200 mph rides and not give way and I think the mating of a phone holder wouldnít be hard to make work with a few pieces from the local hardware store. That is what Iím left with. I just got my V4S and havenít found one place that has a phone holder for that bike.

Quad Lock has a new USB charging module that should be available in shops end Nov 2019. Mounts directly under the Lock module. Includes cable and terminations to battery. A short USB cable plugs into the unit and your phone. Looks very neat - they were on sale at the Wollongong bike show last weekend for $AUD35 (I think) show special, $45 normally. Not shown on their web site yet.

I really like what you did, mate. Keep an update on how well it holds up; overall, it looks pretty legit.

I live my V4S something ridiculous. I simply canít stop riding it and doing something with the bike. I do a lot of city travel and would like to have the ability to have a gps to avoid shite traffic and shite weather.

I really love the great altruistic nature of this website and its members.
