I was discussing the Ohlins electronic suspension with my dealer yesterday. Even him thinks the "S" is overpriced relative to past "S" for what you're getting. The latest iteration doesn't even have any carbon anywhere.
Same with the 959 Corse. Not much to justify the step-up. Will see how many actually bite.

Were you able to get your 959 back to stock? Did you sell all your after-market goodies?
I managed to sell my full termi to my co worker in return for his stock system. I took off my ohlins steering dampner and will install it this weekend, when I sold my exhaust I also removed my rapidbike which I will send back to rapidbikeusa as soon as the V4 maps come in.

FYI, Rapidbike now has a down-shift clutch-less blipper accessory. Not that you'll need it for the V4 but it does increase the resale value of our RB units. As we know, the aftermarket exhaust guys are currently working to produce V4 compatible slip-ons. Consequently, Rapidbike should have a cable assembly for the V4 available very soon.

@SixShock
What's your intention for the OEM wheels? Sell?, Mount them with road tires?

I will probably keep as backup, I don't think they will go for much considering they are cast wheels. If I ever get a V4R, I'll definitely need them to return to stock and mount the GASS on the V4R in the distant future .

Forgot to mention that I removed my ohlins steering dampner and put back the stock one on the 959, I'll install it this weekend along with getting a basic suspension setup for my weight.

D*mn, I'm envious.
On the odd chance your Ohlins steering damper doesn't fit the V4, I'll buy it from you for my 959.

Good choice you made there, i seen numerous times how owners regretted selling OEM parts. Having the option of returning back to stock is always key regardless if its bikes or cars.

it fits, but it isn't perfect fit. I'll keep and have dave moss or some other suspension expert take a look at it to see if it's a good idea to leave it as is. it doesn't wobble though so that's good.
