Steering damper static or dynamic?

Anyone know if the steering damper on the V4S is static or dynamic once configured? I was hoping it adjust to one's speed but don't think that's happening but wanted to make sure.

Which mode are you in? You can change the settings on the damper. I tightened mine down for Road Atlanta last year, I was getting a really good wallow coming over the rise on the back straight. I also had to get more weight over the front tire. I turn most of the rider aids down for the track. Modern tires are just amazing. I hate to place restrictor plates on her. She was doing these wonderful wheelies at the top of the rise at around 120-130 MPH. This bike is amazing. Were doing the full course at VIR this year. I should be able to get her over 180MPH on the back straight!!
