520 Kit

Has anyone replace their stock systems with a lighter 520 kit.

The stock gearing is really tall and I was planning to reduce to 15T/41T.

Thanks for any feedback.

I replaced my stock sprockets and chain with the Superlite 520 conversion kit and titanium axle nuts. I kept the stock gearing because I like it tall. It saved approximately 2.8 pounds.

Did you get the steel or alloy rear sprocket?
Also which chain?

I also just ordered my 520 tonight: 41T steel rear, DID zvmx chain. I didnít opt for the HyperFlexx Cush drive as my bike is new.

I did opt to drop the gear with a 15T front (41T stock rear) as I felt the stock gearing is very tall and too tall for the racetrack.

Iíll weight mine too when in.

Thanks for sharing your net weight savings.

Here is the final set up of the 520 Kit. With a -1 on the front sprocket.

I did the sprocket center 520 conversion with +3 rear. Works great.
