these are the one's I'm using; let's me ride in jeans and works great on the inner thighs. Cheapest is around $65 but I'm sure you could make them with some bicycle shorts, and only needs the inner thigh padding. I removed the outer padding, hip padding can't be removed w/o cutting it open.

These are available in Australia as well. Aren't they very hot to wear in summer?

Nope... I wear it every time I rid the V4; just those shorts and jeans... I can ride all day in normal traffic with them; hottest temp I rode in though was only around 95-97 degrees Fahrenheit and not in stop and go traffic so can't say it would be fine in rush hour at those temps but 80s and city traffic no problem, 90s and always moving no problem. I would make my own from some cycling shorts and some padding but these arrived in a day so it was convenient. I wouldn't suggest paying full retail price but they do work.

Anyone break one of their mirrors yet? I did when I hit it with my hand Who's the jagmo that said we won't have folding mirrors on a 20,000 dollar motorcycle?
My old FZR1000 had a bitchy kickstand so I'm used to that. I need heavier fork springs.
Seems I'm not the only one that had problems getting static sag in an acceptable range.
She needs a baby brother next to her. I'm thinking Hypermotard.

I have a standard V4. Found the suspension way too hard for me for country roads. Took it to a suspension specialist who said all Panigale's have "brutal" supension. He softened the rear up for me as much as possible but it's still not enough (I'm 72 kgs). He can mod it by removing the shocks and changing the inside rings but I'm not going down that road yet.
