Good camera mount location/accessories?

Anyone figure out a good place to mount a camera or add a ram-mount for camera/phone?

Thanks.

I used one of these on my 959 Panigale to flush mount a GPS / Phone adjacent to the display without blocking its view.
From it, you can use any Ram Mount arm to position your device as you see fit.

Thanks.

While great for phone, i am afraid that would not work for a camera, as it would move with the handlebars.

On another forum, someone recommended this:

@jbraslins
Yes, it does move with the steering which works well for a phone or GPS.
A good central location is the Telferizer ball although it rotates with the steering as well.
Are you looking a permanent mount or will a temporary setup do?
Are you looking for a location that can handle both forward and rearward views?

Don't care if permanent or temp.
Mostly need forward only, but rear would be fun too for 2nd cam.

If you want to reduce video vibration, I've heard good things of the Gimbal stabilizer for helmets and motorcycles. Never tried it because they look a bit too bulky.

Can you confirm that this will work on the V4?

Haven't seen a Gimbal stabilizer on a motorcycle itself, mostly seen it attached to people's helmets and they do say it makes a difference.
This video provides a stark comparison between footage with Gimbal and without.

I have seen some riders with body mount cameras which seem to do well enough. From that, those that upload to YouTube make use of the feature to smoothen out videos from rattles. Useful feature if you ask me.

I got this from eBay because a buddy of mine recommended it. I havenít had a chance to try it out yet, but it looks good.
